Activities
The project realization is divided into 3 main phases. Together they constitute a logical project framework and promote the capacity building and growing of the network.
1) Set up, research and design
The initial stage focuses on set up of project structures - management, working groups (WG), implementation plan, guidelines etc. Working groups will map current practices in each country and design materials and methods for piloting. A database of contacts will be built and collaboration with key players in education installed.
At WG Mid-Workshop I., partners will share results of their research and prepare for the piloting phase and transfer of the experience to other countries. Collaborative and Evaluation partner meeting will be closing event of the phase, followed by Open Conference where the first results and network possibilities will be presented.
2) Development and Piloting
The 2nd phase concentrates on piloting products of WGs and network growth. Partners-followers introduce WG topic and products in their country. They monitor piloting, collect and analyze feedback from target group. Partners will meet at WG Mid-Workshop II. to share experience and give feedback to partners-experts. WGs adapt the products. Dissemination already starts with the distribution of pilot version of the WG products. Final version of the WG products will be ready for the Open Conference II. All the results are placed on the website. Collaborative and evaluation meeting ends this phase.
3) Dissemination and exploitation of results
Partners will promote project results and networking possibilities. More partners are entering the network. The team will support teachers and school administrators in eliminating existing barriers to an effective adoption of methods attracting students to science. Open Conference will be organized to target even bigger audience and support future cooperation within the growing network.
The last phase is crucial for evaluation of project effectiveness and impact. The Management will assess milestones, activities and results of the project. The most important improvements in all the 3 WG research areas will be identified.
